ABOUT THE EVENT

Zimbabwe's agriculture sector is on the cusp of a clean energy revolution and RE4Agri 2026 is the moment to act. On 08-09 September 2026, the key players in energy, agribusiness, finance and policy will convene at Rainbow Towers Hotel and Conference Centre, Harare to engage in bold conversations and connections that cut across sectors and borders.

The conference will be hosted by the EU Delegation (EUD) to Zimbabwe, GET.invest Zimbabwe and the Renewable Energy Association of Zimbabwe(REAZ), and it will spotlight how renewable energy can unlock the full potential of agri-value chains and will mark the official launch of the GET.invest Country Window Zimbabwe. If you are investing in, implementing or influencing the future of sustainable agriculture in the region, your seat is at this table.

GET.invest Zimbabwe was established in May 2025 with funding from the European Union and Germany. It builds on the services of the broader GET.invest programme to unlock financing for clean energy projects and businesses, and tailors them to the Zimbabwean context. The European programme supports clean energy companies and projects through its Finance Access Advisory and boost local currency lending via EDGE Finance. These services aim to unlock investment, scale renewable energy solutions, and drive Zimbabwe’s energy transition and electrification goals.

The Renewable Energy Association of Zimbabwe is an independent, non-governmental and non profit making organisation with no particular religious or political affiliation and is gender and environmentally sensitive. The Purpose of REAZ is to facilitate the sustainable development and uptake of Renewable Energy Technologies RETs to the benefit of its members, stakeholders and consumers.
